Gifts Planned giving provides you with various charitable gift-making opportunities to leave a lasting legacy while you meet your personal financial goals at the same time. Building relationships with donors and their families through planned giving is an instrumental and crucial way for Goodwill to ensure that our services continue in the future and that we are prepared to meet the needs of our community. We invite you (in consultation with your accountant/financial adviser) to review the various planned giving options available and encourage you to find an option that best fits with you and your family’s interests and goals. Some of the various planned giving options include your own will, bequests, annuities, life insurance, trusts and others. We would be happy to refer you to a list of professional consultants. Sometimes various corporations or businesses will match their employee’s donation dollars to a non-profit organization. Please contact your company for information. Financial donations to Goodwill Industries are tax deductible. Please make cheques payable to: Goodwill Industries - Essex Kent Lambton. Plan your taxes in consultation with your accountant/financial adviser and explore the advantages of donating stocks, bonds, life insurance, etc. to Goodwill Industries in return for valuable tax receipts. If you wish, please designate your gift in honour or in memory of a loved one. We will notify the next-of-kin or appropriate individual of your thoughtful gift.
